Preheat oven to 350° F.
Prepare the basic white sauce.
Add in the salt, pepper, nutmeg, and 1/2 cup each of the Parmesan and Asiago cheeses.
Heat in microwave until hot.
Pour the sauce mixture into an oven-proof casserole dish.
Add in the vegetable, the basil, and the tuna.
Cook the pasta al dente, Drain and add to the casserole.
Blend all with a spatula.
Top the casserole with the remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan,
Sprinkle some bread crumbs evenly over the top,
Bake for about 20 minutes until bubbly and a little brown.
2 cups basic white sauce
Freshly grated sea salt
Freshly grated black pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1/2 cup grated Asiago cheese
1-1/2 cups fresh or frozen vegetable of your choice (broccolini, green peas, and spinach are good choices)
Basil (4 tablespoons fresh, or 2 tablespoons dried)
2 cans tuna, rinsed and drained, then flaked
8 ounces pasta (I like Dreamfields brand)
